Script Buyer access is to SFA's Greenlit Script Market is available to principals and employees of entertainment companies who's day to day focus is on the development and acquisition of Television & Motion Picture feature film projects at large. Writers are NOT eligible for Industry Professional status with the SFA. All scripts published in the Greenlit Market have been officially covered and received a greenlit (consider or recommend) grade by the Screenwriters Federation of America or approved affiliates.

In the event Screenwriters Federation of America enables the eventual sale (or option for sale) of a screenplay published traditionally (via SFA publications) or digitally (via SFA website), the SFA will NOT collect any fees from the gross proceeds of any such sale. There are no commissions due SFA for sales—member or nonmember, it matters not. Screenwriters who have put in the work and made the grade, deserve the opportunity to be read—one and all.

SFA Greenlit Market Script Selection Criteria: Our focus is on solid writing, great storytelling, story structure and industry standard screenplay format. We are not here to make judgments on current Hollywood trends. That's your job. We are here to make sure you have a polished "reading script" that's well written and properly formatted to accepted industry standards. Feature Film Screenplay projects include a professional synopsis, logline and the official SFA coverage grading report.
